Recipe: Dolce Ghiacciati

Summary: Dolce (Italian “sweet”) Ghiacciati (Italian “frozen”) -espresso over ghiacciati cubes

Ingredients

  • 40 Espresso shots
  • 4 oz Honey
  • 3 oz Lemon syrup (NOT lemon juice!)
  • Espresso (# of shots ordered)

Instructions

To make the ghiacciati cubes:

  1. Add Honey to container.
  2. Add Lemon syrup into container.
  3. Add 40 espresso shots.
  4. Mix very well.
  5. Pour mixture into ice cube trays and freeze.

To make the drink:

  1. Add 3 ghiacciati cubes to a 4 oz glass.
  2. Extract fresh espresso shots directly over cubes and serve.

Espresso with Sugar over Ice

Ingredients

  • Espresso (# shots ordered)
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Add sugar to cup.
  2. Extract espresso directly into cup.
  3. Swirl espresso & sugar to blend and melt.
  4. Immediately pour this mixture over ice cubes and serve.
