Recipe: Americano Au Lait
Summary : Espresso, hot water and steamed milk
Ingredients
Espresso shot(s)
Hot water
Milk
Instructions
Fill cup 1/2 way with hot water
Add steamed milk
Add espresso shot(s)
Top off with 1/4 froth and serve
Adding the espresso shots AFTER the water is a personal preference and you should ask your customer how they prefer it made.
Some like the espresso (and condiments) in the cup first so that the hot water acts as a natural blender afterwords.
